Nancy O'Dell's debut work in the industry of broadcast was as a reporter/anchor at WPDE-TV Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Later she was a morning-news anchor as well as a crime reporter at WCBD TV. O'Dell's reportage on the streets of Charleston regarding the leniency of police officers towards DUI cases has led to the State Law Enforcement Division investigating these incidents. Ms. O'Dell was awarded an award for the Best Report of the Award from the Associated Press for South Carolina's media. O'Dell was a reporter and anchor for a time working in Charleston as a reporter and anchor at the NBC Miami WTVJ-TV station before moving to Access Hollywood where she is an anchor and reporter on weekends. In addition to her current work as a lead anchor on Access Hollywood Ms. O'Dell is also a contributor to NBC News' Today and as well to Dateline NBC. She has covered major events like The Oscars, The Emmys, The Grammys, and The Golden Globe Awards. In addition to co-hosting Pre-ShowArrivals in preparation for The Emmys & The Golden Globes. She also co-hosted the Miss USA pageant and the Miss Universe pageant.
